Excellent, entertaining and humorous

This was the first time I've seen it. I didn't know what to expect. This show was very entertaining. It had drama, excitement and humor. The cast was spectacular. The orchestra was outstanding. I just have to say that my favorite part was when Roxy was dreaming of her fame. The artist who played her (sorry, can't remember her name) did an EXCELLENT job! She was alone on the stage and cast herself completely into her role. It was fabulous. A solo role such as that one can't be easy with just the orchestra for support (well until the "boys" came in) but it was so incredibly well done. The courtroom scene at the end was another highlight. I want to congratulate the entire cast on an excellent job. Thank you so much for entertaining us.

We finally saw Chicago!!!!

This show has been around a long time and after seeing it, I understand why!!! One of its songs totally defines the show: "razzle dazzle!!" It has EVERYTHING, the best music, the best choreography, a ridiculous story, but in the long run it has a message. Aside from the great music and dancing, there are lots of witty comments throughout, Roxy and Velma are gorgeous, their movements are liquid, their singing terrific, each perfect for their role. I can't say enough about the choreography, it was flawless, sexy and energetic. We also LOVED that the orchestra was on full display throughout, and their occasional antics added an extra level of delight to the performance.

Big disapointment

First off, I went The Majestic online upcoming shows and ticketing, I selected Best Tickets available, for 1; big mistake, the balcony seat selected was possibly the worst place an adult would want to sit for an entire show, granted, was center of the last row, but those seats are lined up so close, your knees are butting up against the seats in front. Second, if the theatre is selling seats to a full house, including the top rows, then make sure those at the top can at least enjoy a great audio experience, that did not happen, the audio was barely audible. And third, I’ve enjoyed a much better musical production, even if has been done a thousand times; this matinee stage performance was adequate, at best. I couldn’t wait for the intermission, so I could leave this regrettable experience. Thankfully, I have enjoyed many a wonderful show at the Majestic.
